BASANT PANCHAMI

Basant Panchmi is celebrated on the fifth day (Panchmi tithi) of Megha month on the Shukla Paksha as per the Hindu calendar. Basant Panchmi falls on the fifth day of the bright lunar cycle.

The festival gots its name from ‘Basant’ which means Spring and ‘Panchami’ which means the fifth day of Megha Maas.

Mostly people wear yellow dresses on this festival. The teachers of Pushp Vatika also wore yellow dresses.

Pushp Vatika, Jeevan Nagar  celebrated Basant Pancmi on 05-02-2022 in its school premises.

At last, Prayer was done by Headmistress  including all the teachers of Pushp Vatika for the peace and prosperity of whole nation and  prashad was served to all present over there by Respected Headmistress.
